Jam Jar HR was founded in 2019 by Maddy, a highly qualified HR professional, with extensive experience gathered over 15 years working in both blue chip corporate organisations such as Nestle and Kantar, and in a variety of smaller, and privately owned businesses.

Maddy is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds several additional HR training qualifications, as well as a Finance degree.

At Jam Jar HR we want to take away your worries and leave you to concentrate on the big, exciting stuff. We are happy to answer questions and offer advice, or simply be your sounding board, but we also have the expertise to handle the more complex cases on your behalf. Our aim is to ensure you have all the tools in place to feel confident that you are legally compliant, and skilled to handle things as they come up.

We can provide contracts of employment, policies and guidelines, employee handbooks and any necessary documentation you may require to ensure you are fully prepared.

If you need advice and support with maternity, paternity and flexible working queries, as well as absence cases, we’re there for you. We understand that every situation is different and strive to achieve a result that is best for everyone.

In addition, we can also support and advise you on any employee relations case work such as disciplinaries, grievances, or redundancies.

Training Development & support

We believe that you already have the potential within your organisation to effectively manage your people.

At Jam Jar HR, we want to empower leaders and managers to confidently get the best out of their team. Your focus might be in a certain area, or possibly it’s a full training programme we create together, that bit is up to you. We know that training can be costly and takes valuable business time, so we deliver a series of over 30 speedy workshops offering bitesize, modular learning.

All modules can be run in as little as an hour but can be extended as required to allow for deeper understanding, additional exercises or discussion. They can be tailored to your business, in a way that suits your needs and budget, and aligns with any policies you have in place.

And if you have a specific need we can, of course, develop it just for you!
